Position Overview:
We seek a talented and enthusiastic digital marketing intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing while supporting the National Aviation Hall of Fame mission. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, basic graphic design skills, and a creative mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling and informative blog content highlighting the achievements of aviation pioneers, upcoming programs and events, and general-interest topics related to the aviation industry.
  • Assist in updating web copy and content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with NAHF’s branding and messaging.
  • Create engaging social media posts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to promote events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Utilize basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing assets for digital marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, event flyers, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Development and Communications to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns aimed at increasing membership and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing efforts using analytics tools and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing, social media, and graphic design to help keep NAHF’s digital presence innovative and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in high school with a strong interest in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
  • Creative thinker who can generate engaging content ideas that resonate with aviation enthusiasts.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for aviation and a desire to contribute to the preservation and celebration of aviation history.
