  • Held pilot’s license number 74 from the Federation Aeronautique Internationale.
  • Conceived and built a successful pusher type monoplane.
  • Was a member of the Early Birds, a club of the first 200 pilots.
  • Made the first U.S. manned monoplane flight  on December 9th, 1909.
