Position Title: Volunteer
About Us: The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) is dedicated to honoring individuals who have significantly contributed to aviation. Our Heritage Hall Education Center (HHEC) located at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, is an educational hub, inspiring the next generation of aviation enthusiasts and professionals.
Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support the educational initiatives at our Heritage Hall Education Center. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage with visitors of all ages from around the world, sharing the rich history and exciting innovations of aviation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Visitor Engagement: Greet visitors, provide information about exhibits, and answer questions about aviation history. 
  • Educational Programs: Assist with educational programs and workshops for school groups and the general public. 
  • Exhibit Maintenance: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of exhibits to ensure an enjoyable experience for visitors. 
  • Special Events: Support special events and activities hosted at the NAHF. 
  • Promotion: Assist with promoting the Education Center and its programs through social media, outreach, and other channels. 

Qualifications: 

  • Passion for aviation and enthusiasm for sharing its history with others. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to engage with visitors of all ages and backgrounds. 
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling scheduled volunteer shifts. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Time Commitment: Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of a four-hour weekly shift. Flexible scheduling is available.
